Presenter is Father Wade Menezes, CPM of the Fathers of Mercy - Theme of this Retreat: An Introduction to the Faith of Our Fathers. Talk 1: The Fathers of the Church: Why study them?  Their importance and historical significance.  Talk 2: The Magisterium: Respecting and Defending the Teaching Authority of Holy Mother Church. Talk 3: Teaching and Preaching: The Necessity of being faithful teachers and preachers of Our Catholic Faith. 

All are invited to celebrate Our Lady's feast of the Visitation on Friday, May 31 at the Marian Prayer Center in Milwaukie with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. followed by Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Henry Rufo. Fellowship and refreshments will follow.

Each evening begins with vespers in the Abbey Church, followed by a church concert on the Abbey’s wonderful pipe organ on Wednesday and a choir on Thursday and Friday. Guests then go out on the hilltop lawn for a picnic supper served by the monks. At 8 pm everyone enters the Damian Center for the evening’s feature classical performance. Schedule: 5:15 pm: Vespers, 6 pm: Church concert, 6:30 pm: Picnic supper, 8 pm: Damian Center concert.
