    The 28th annual Iconographic Arts Institute will take place June 20-28 at Queen of Angels Monastery in Mount Angel.  At beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, all students study orthodox iconography.  Prayer, silence, simple meals and fellowship occur in a combination retreat/workshop within the cycle of the Divine Office and daily Mass.

    High school and middle school-aged youth and chaperones are invited to this third biennial youth pilgrimage walk for a faith-filled day of prayer, catechesis, music and community building.  Also, Donna Cori Gibson will lead the Chaplet of Divine Mercy during the pilgrimage.
    On Saturday, April 26, the six-mile walk begins at 10:00 am with song and prayer at The Grotto (NE 85th Ave. and Sandy Blvd.).  Other pilgrimage stops will be Our Lady of Lavang Parish (5404 NE Alameda Dr.) for lunch, catechesis, music and the opportunity for Confession; and St. André Bessette Parish (NW 6th Ave. and Burnside) to deliver donated clothing for those in need.  The walk ends at St. Mary Cathedral, where Archbishop Alexander K. Sample will celebrate a closing Mass.
    Cost: $25 per person (includes lunch and t-shirt)
