Cantores in Ecclesia presents the 17th annual William Byrd Festival, featuring choral masterpieces by the great Renaissance composer William Byrd (1540-1623) and his teacher Thomas Tallis (1505-1585). English organist and conductor Mark Williams will return to Portland as Artistic Director of the festival. The complete schedule includes an organ recital, seven liturgical services, and six public lectures. All locations are in Portland:

Cantores in Ecclesia has established itself as a leader in liturgical and early music performance, winning loyal supporters at home and top honors in international competition. Cantores sings for the Solemn Latin Mass at St. Stephen's Church in SE Portland every Saturday at 7:30 pm.
